How could I pass this up???

June 24, 2015
Project Pics· The "Other" Stuff

24 Jun

The answer: I COULDN'T.

I saw the set Watercolor Wings in the new catalog and KNEW it would make STUNNING cards!! It's available in a Framelits bundle, too!

Here's the first one I made:

Watercolor Wings, www.dazzledbystamping.com

My inspiration was a sticker book my kids used to have when they were younger.

I LOVED this gorgeous turquoise one!

My colors here are Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point, and Tuxedo Black Mememto.

(BTW, I JUST realized I've been spelling Mememto wrong all this time!!) :/

Ok, so I have a "job"for you….

As I mentioned, I adore this set.

This butterfly has 3-steps: base wings, wing tips and the dots & burst (black.)

What is YOUR vision of a good combo of colors??

**Comment below with 3 (current) Stampin' Up! colors. I'll try [a few?] of them and pick my favorite. I'll send a pack of these Watercolor Wings cards with envelopes to the person who gave me my favorite inspiration.

NOTE: You WILL NOT WIN by choosing Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss as 2 of your colors!!! 😉 That's already in my wheelhouse! Give me something new. "Contest" ends midnight this Friday, 6/26. I will make cards this weekend and post the winner Monday. Good luck!! You may increase your chances at winning by submitting a new idea each day.

Ok, gotta go!

Have an amazing day!

I love the bright colors of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie (or even Tangerine Tango) and Memento Black (I've been spelling it wrong too…grrrrr!). These colors remind me of a lot of the butterflies we saw at Meijer Gardens this year! :0)
