My scrappy project today came from great inspiration! I CASE'd a card sample I saw at the Stampin' Up! Regional I attended!
We made this sample at my Merry Moments Scrappin' Cards class Saturday.
I love the double stamping and the elegant simplicity of the sample. I'll show you a few more another time.
But now, I have my scrappy card that it inspired. I went back to my beloved Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP.
I have 2 secrets to tell you, though:
- I cheated a little on the Basic Gray polka-dots. It wasn't a scrap! (shhh!) It was a fairly large piece that was tucked in my pack all nice and cozy. But I couldn't resist!
- When I cut the long but skinny little strip of DSP, I DIDN'T HAVE TO GET MY SCORING BLADE OUT OF THE WAY TO MAKE THE CUT ON MY 12×12 DSP!!!! (The new Stampin' Trimmer is the BEST!!!!)
The greeting on the first sample is from Greetings of the Season. I love the beautiful swirls.
The greeting on the 2nd is from Curly Cute. I also used Neutrals buttons.
I'll be back tomorrow with more to share.

It's a fun set, Courtney. I like the long words–often for pennants.
