Have you seen Stampin' Up!'s new Core'dinations cardstock? It's kinda cool!
First, I need to remind you that our amazing [regular] cardstock is dyed with our gorgeous colors all the way through.
So, for instance, when you tear it, you still see the color. I love that quality about our cardstock.
Well, now in the Holiday Mini, SU! is offering Core'dinations cardstock in Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Gumball Green.
This cardstock is white inside, so you can create some different effects with it.
Here, I used the Argyle Embossing Folder along with the [Core'd] Early Espresso cs to give some cool texture and design.
Don't forget you need the Stampin' Sanding System and Dust Buddy, too. (all on pg 6, Holiday Mini.)
Once the cs is run through the Big Shot with the folder, to get the 2-tone effect, sand the texture from the folder. The smaller edge of the block is used to get a more detailed sanding.
This sanding results in lots of paper powder, so the dust buddy is so helpful!
By the way, do you own Lovely As a Tree yet? Because I'm using it again! It's just so versatile! I can't even help it!
(which you realize translates to a perfect set for YOU to buy as well!)
I think every year, I end up using it for one of my Christmas Stamp Camp cards.
Versatility is a necessary quality for the frugal crafter! And I know I told you this already, but–even though it's the oldest set in the catalog–it's available in clear-mount for the first time this year.
"Peace on Earth" is another stamp from Greetings of the Season. I love these different fonts.
Remember, if you can fall in love with a project, you can learn to create it! Here to help you channel your inner Creative Genius….
Have a great day!
