A Splash of Color

June 8, 2012
I'm a COLOR Girl!· Project Pics· Tricks of the Trade

8 Jun

Yesterday, I told you I'd add a splash of color to our new In Colors.  Have you met the Stampin' Up! Color Coach?

It's an amazing tool–the first place I go when I'm working with a new color or if I need a little inspiration.

I started working with Summer Starfruit–probably because Scan0045I found it the biggest challenge.

The Color Coach suggests a pallette including Baja Breeze and Elegant Eggplant. This is the card I showed you a couple days ago.  I love the combo! How about you?

Scan0052Primrose Petals also coordinates with Summer Starfruit–and Basic Gray.  I used the Primrose as an accent rather than as the focus color.  This combo is especially fun with a little bling added.

Tonight I shared the Gumball Green combo with one of my clubs  We love it with Melon Mambo and So Saffron!

100_0458100_0459My hostess Keana even let me take a picture of her with her cool card. (Thanks for playing along, Keana!)  She's adorable–and aren't the colors gorgeous together, too?

We had a great club and were very gabby.  (And NO, it wasn't JUST me!) We took so long finishing our stamping, someone asked if we were having a sleepover!  She was still able to leave early, though.  We'll have to schedule a sleepover another time. *Ü*

REMEMBER:  Gumball Green & Melon Mambo.  Stunning!

When YOU use YOUR Color Coach, experiment a little.

Maybe the color you're focusing on needs to be the main color; maybe it's much better as the accent.  You decide what you like.

But make the Color Coach one of your new best friends!  Use it as your launch pad.

Or use MY card as your launch pad. Just copy it!!

(Remember the "5 Tips for Making Fabulous Hand-Stamped Creations?"  If you haven't receved this yet, go sign up for my newsletter now.  Then it will be yours.)

I'll splash Midnight Muse & Raspberry Ripple with a little more color next week.

I'll be here to help you channel your inner Creative Genius.  Remember, if you can fall in love with a project, you can learn to create it!

Have a great day!

Steph

I'm glad you had a good time, too. Good luck with the card!
