When I signed up as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator 23+ years ago, I TOTALLY did it to fund my habit! I didn’t have the money to spend on ALL THE PRODUCT I WANTED! So I knew I wanted the discount, and I wanted to do classes (although they’re not required), so I had the “Instant Income” as well. Plus, it became my night out of the house as a stay-at-home mom. I had no idea how much I would benefit from Stampin’ Up!
Little did I know how many friendships I’d gain–through my customers…and team members (who knew I’d HAVE a team??)…and other demonstrators I’ve met at events….even Stampin’ Up! corporate employees! Love them! And I’m so thankful for all these friendships.
Little did I know I’d end up with a small business I can call my own. It grows with me and changes as I change and learn. I can make it my own to fit my needs and schedule.
Little did I know that my little business would help Todd & I travel the world on the incentive trips I’ve earned over the past several years! Stampin’ Up! is THE BEST at knowing how to spoil us! (This is not typical results. Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.)
Little did I know how much joy papercrafting could bring to me and through me to the people around me. It’s great therapy! And I can use it to bless to others as well.
What I DO know NOW is, it’s great to be a part of this amazing stamping community. It’s great to have a tribe. And it’s great to have the opportunity to share this community with others.
Everyone may have a different reason for wanting to craft or wanting to consider being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Maybe you just want a great deal! There’s no wrong reason!
