A little bit of MY perspective–including videos!

The "Other" Stuff

1 Jun

Hey–It's me again!

Before I give you my perspective on our trip to Maui, I just wanna remind you that the Jan-June Mini Catalog [partially discounted] Last Chance List goes live at 3pm ET today.

Here's the list again: Jan-Jun-2021-Mini-Catalog-Last-Chance-Products_discounted

I am SO VERY THANKFUL for the trip we just took!!

THANK YOU to all of you who helped me earn it!

It was AMAZING!!!

Forgive me if I've mentioned this already, but…

After scheduling a few excursions for our trip–and knowing Todd likes to explore–before we even left, I told Todd I NEEDED some down time.

I was emotionally drained.

We scheduled things sort of every other day–and left it that way–and it was perfect.

Except for the expected jet lag, I came back refreshed.

When I walked into our room at the resort and saw our view, I was overwhelmed and emotional.

It was gorgeous; the whole resort was an amazing place to relax.

And Stampin' Up! has been perfecting the art of spoiling us Demonstrators for years!

They do it RIGHT.

I'll share some of my fave pics of the resort in a sec.

But here's another fave pic of mine:

This is family–Steph, Cheryl & Lisa Marie.

I love these women.

We met a few years ago on our Alaskan Cruise.

We ended up having a girls night in one of the open areas of the lobby, and it was just what we needed!

We laughed so hard. (It was the pineapple night.)

Someone walked by saying he needed to bottle "that" up and take it home. 😉

I'm thankful Cheryl's team leader also walked by and asked to take a pic for us; you know ME and remembering pics!

It was a good night.

Cheryl's 2 helpers she brought and my cousin, Donna, who is also a demonstrator was also here. But we hadn't thought of pics then. (Well, I hadn't thought of them at all!)

Ok, now for the resort and our room….LOVE ♥

I have a few videos to show the hotel and pics to show our room.

Perfection.

Here's a view I loved of the reflection pool.

We spent a couple afternoons in the chaise lounges under the palm trees after we'd had enough sun.

There was a team of Hawaiian Demonstrators that took it upon themselves to welcome us when we arrived from the airport. They gave us these small gifts:

So thoughtful.

As you may remember from past trips, we receive a pillow gift every night AND we get to spin to win a prize every day in the Stampin' Up! hospitality room.

Here's a combo of fun gifts and new products–including a special gift for our supportive "first guests", as Todd is called. 🙂

Ok, another area I wanted to share before I go is some of what I collected on our Road to Hana.

The first park we stopped at. The sound of splashing water is so calming.

The upper fresh water pond–and jumpers!

Here's a video of the Black Sand beach and the "blow hole" Todd referred to.

Ok last pics!

Todd took great ones the whole time, but as he mentioned, I was on the coast side of the tour bus.

As he also mentioned, there were times the road was down to 1 lane.

And SOME of those times, there wasn't really much of a "guard rail"!

Kimo chuckled when we gasped!

And NO. This is not OUT my window.

I am within the confines of a closed window taking these pics!

One last fun pic….

When we went shopping in Lahaina before we headed back to the airport from our condo, we stopped by the Banyan trees.

I wanted a selfie with Todd, and the first one we took was horrible.

Todd's smile was obviously forced, so I made him take another and made him laugh first.

I'm so annoying. Haha!

Thanks for sharing our journey with us!

And thank you again for your part in getting us to Maui!!

I have projects to share from the swap boards, but those will have to wait for now.

Have a wonderful day!

Note: Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.
