I am in love!!
This is my favorite Daisy card I've made!
But I waited to post it, because I wanted to send it to my sister in Japan. 🙂
The cheery colors and the gingham ribbon are highlight the Daisy Delight AND the Pocketful of Sunshine bundles PERFECTLY!!
And I SERIOUSLY can't get enough of that ribbon!!!!!
Ok, so I have some important tips for you today–for whenever you get or use your Daisy punch….
DAISY PUNCH TIPS!!
The punch can sometimes get stuck (in the cardstock.) Read here first. 🙂
- If you plan to stamp the daisy and then punch, mount your stamp on the block so there are 2 petals aiming straight up and down. (No troubles later cuz that’s the way the punch is positioned.)
- A 5 ½” x 2 ¾” pc of cs is the perfect size to fit/punch out 2 daisies. You can get 6 from an 8 ½” x 11” pc of cs.
- I always use my punches upside down so I can see what/where I’m punching.
- When you punch the daisy, PULL YOUR PUNCH AWAY FROM THE SIDE—rather than from the bottom. I don’t know why, but it doesn’t seem to catch as easily that way!
- If you forget step 3 or it still gets stuck, “continue to punch your way out.” You may only need an extra punch to be able to release all the pieces.
Happy Daisy Punching!!!
Does that all make sense?? If not, just ask me!!
Here's everything I used for this beauty:
Happy weekend!!
