More Party Cards!

 

We had lots of fun at my Hostess Appreciation Party a week+ ago!

 

 

I've learned in recent years that I needed to simplify stamping a bit with all these wonderful women together!

 

 

This set of cards worked perfectly!

 

 

I've been calling these folder DE-bossing folders…

because to READ these words, it presses them INTO the cardstock, rather than raising them.

 

Then you stamp over it to get the look above.

Kinda fun!!

 

 

The set and folders are NOT bundled together, but they ARE on the same page–40 in the Occasions Catalog.

 

 

By the way, notice the Stampin' Pierce Mat in the supplies list below????

 

THAT IS A HUGE TIP:

This set is photopolymer. AND BOLD.

Both of those things together make the center of the stamp NOT.WANT.TO.STAMP. (Can leave a blank circle.)

 

Frustrating. They need a little cushion underneath to give a good stamped image! I use my paper piercing mat. But you could also use a few napkins stacked together–I've done it at a workshop when I forgot my mat! :/ (yes, my ever-human-qualities come out once again!)
