I LOVED catching lightening bugs when I was a kid!
I'm not sure we ever kept any in a jar, but it was definitely a common activity on a summer night.
They'd just suddenly start showing up while we were playing outside!
I can picture the front yard of the house we lived in when I was in Kindergarden thru 3rd grade.
I wonder if any of my siblings even remember that house….
I KNOW my youngest wouldn't, because I can still remember my 1st grade teacher asking me if my mom had her baby yet.
