I have to admit that when I designed this card, I originally wanted to use my It's My Party washi tape.
But the specific roll I had in mind must have dropped off my table and rolled somewhere cuz I can't find it anywhere! [And yes. I did clean down to find bare tabletop when looking for it! 😉 ]
Then I realized I haven't used Cucumber Crush in awhile–and was just in the mood.
So here's my card–using the Party Wishes bundle (includes the 3-pack of punches) and Cherry on Top washi tape….and all the colors in it. 😉
Cucumber Crush, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay
Oh–I have a couple tips for you, too!
1) When "attaching" the balloon strings to the letters below; I wanted them to be different heights. Because I stamped with the curlier end touching the letters and the straighter end at the top, I could slide my balloons (with dimensionals) up or down the string as I chose.
2) To save cleaning stamps multiple times, I used VersaMark rather than using different ink colors on my 3 different balloons. (This is especially helpful for multiple card or a class.)
VersaMark gives a watermark look–which is more visible on darker or more vibrant colors. I usually prefer using the actual ink color on the same cardstock; it's a little darker.
But I'm SO HAPPY with this card!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
