I'm SO EXCITED for the new catalog that will be coming out!!
(It will not go "live" until Monday, June 2.)
I have details to share–AND an exciting opportunity for you.
Catalog Details:
1) I can and will order new catalogs on May 1. They should arrive within approx 1 week. You may pick them up when I've announced they're here!
- If you're in a club, I already have you on my list to receive one.
- If you've hostessed a workshop with me or met regularly with me in the last year, you're on my list.
- If you' don't think either one of those are you, and you would like one, let me know–BY APRIL 30.
2) The "retired list" will be published Monday, April 21. I will put it here on my blog that day.
- June 2 is the first day you can order from the NEW catalog.
- June 4 is the last day you can order retiring products (while supplies last.)
Exciting Opportunity:
First of all, let me remind you that I'm going to a New Catalog Premiere with Stampin' Up! on April 28.
- I will come home with ONE (1) catalog of my own (3 days before I can even ORDER them!) WOO-HOO!!!!!
- I get a SWAG bag! That means I will also come home with new product of some kind. I have no idea how much or what kind. Stamps? Accessories? New In Colors?! I don't know!!! But I can't wait to get it!!
This is where the exciting opportunity comes in….
I want to share this with YOU!
The catalog preview AND the product–I will have at least a couple projects to make.
But 75 or 30 or even 10 of us can't all share 1 catalog all at once.
And I'm preeeetty sure I wouldn't have enough new product for that many either.
SO–I'm opening up the opportunity to 3 LUCKY PEOPLE.
AND there will be 4 WAYS to win a spot.
Event Details: New Catalog Preview
Thursday, May 1, 7pm, my home, no class fee
Contest Deadline: Monday, April 21, 11:59pm Eastern time
How you can win:
1) Comment at the bottom of this blogpost. Tell me about your new catalog experience….Do you have a ritual? Do you start writing your wish list right away or do you have to look through it once or twice first? Do you usually end up with more stamp sets or accessories? Word sets or "standard" ones? You share whatever your new catalog experience is. (Only 1 comment counts for a random drawing. And you only have a 2 week window. Comments automatically close after that.)
2) On facebook, share my Dazzled By Stamping business page–on YOUR personal timeline and/or your business page. You can do this daily if you'd like. Share a post or just share the page. Each share counts, but you'll have to comment that you [shared] on this fb post each time you do to get credit for each one. CHANGE: I highlighted this post on my business page, so it's in line with the dates, but it is double-width.
3) "Like" my facebook business page–not just a post but the page. This is a bonus for "new" people. There's nothing more you need to do for this method. I'll receive a notification when you "like" it.
The 3 above methods of entering the contest will result in a random drawing from all the entries for 2 of the available event spots.
Do you prefer to BUY your way into the event?!
Well, I have one more method.
(And you can thank my club from last night for this idea. I gave them a "preview of my thoughts" and they had their own ideas–which I LOVED!! Thanks Kathy, Courtney, Diane, Mary, Judy, Ann & Jessica, for your great ideas!!)
4) Bid on the 3rd spot through my facebook auction. The highest bid will be donated to Belay Youth Ministry (by the bidder), and the bidder will win the last spot at the event. I will have a separate post on my Dazzled By Stamping facebook page. (CHANGE: I pinned the auction to the top so it can be easily found.) Comment on the post with a dollar amount you want to bid. If there are any questions, the timing deadline on bidding will be based on Facebook time.
NOTE: Even if you don't have a facebook page, you can still visit www.facebook.com/DazzledByStamping to see any of my posts and the bids. You just can't comment/bid.
https://www.facebook.com/BelayYouthMinistry
The random drawing will take place Tuesday, 4/22. Winners will be announced at that time. The winning bidder should bring a check for Belay Youth Ministry to the Catalog Preview.
If you have any questions about any of these methods of entries, let me know.
Good luck!!
Have a great day!!

Getting a new catalog is one of the BEST highlights of each year! Before I can even start looking through it I have to just hold it and kind of breathe it in! (I know…I'm weird!!) Then I have to find a quiet spot and time when no one is around to interrupt and start slowly turning pages. I usually go through it 2 or 3 times before I start my wish list as I'm always catching something I didn't see the first or second time through. I still have every catalog since I started stamping in 1999, and love to go through them for inspiration…they're like well loved books! :0)

The new catalog has been one of the Biggest highlights for me each year since I learned about Stampin' Up in 1992. I have every catalog and still go back and refer to all the ideas for inspiration. My ritual (especially when my boys were little) was to wait for naptime and then I had quiet time for just me and the NEW catalog! I go through the catalog once and mark my favorites with post it note flags and then go back through and start my WISH LIST which seems to grow each time I revisit the catalog. There is always something new I notice each time I look through it. I can hardly wait for the new catalog, new ideas and I hope I win a sneak peek for the preview!!!! Thanks for the opportunity Steph!

I, too, like to wait for a quiet moment to look through it which is usually at nap time or at the end of the night. Even the small occasions or SAB catalogs that come I love to look through in peace and quiet! I usually go through a couple of times and then * the items that I want on my wish list. I can't wait to see what this year's catalog has in store for us!
Diane says
What comes to mind immediately was what happened after I received the present catalogue which was the "new catalogue".
I read every night after my "furry kids"are sound asleep. That time I could hardly wait to get in bed with my new catalogue. I had a"want list" that took up both sides of the 8×11 paper Stephanie included with catalogue. This would not be the only time that I "googled my new catalogue.
I look forward to another adventure with my new catalogue.

When I get my new catalog. The first thing I do is go through and underline what I want/like. Then I go back and circle the items that I still might have that were not retired. Then I get my old catalog and see what is still on my list that is being retired. Then I decide what I still want to order from the retired items and place that order. Then I should be all set to start again. The stamper's clubs work great for me because you have plenty of time to get what you want throughout the year without having to have a "party" and try to get guests. Also, you have a wonderful group of women to meet with throughout the year. Your "Stamping Family".

The new catalog is very exciting to me. I always look through more than twice before I start to write down the stamps I like best, then I go back to all the new embellishments, that is what makes the card for me sometimes.. After that I have to go back to anything they have new for me to play with for my big shot. When I get done with that I go back over it again and again to make sure that I haven't missed out on anything! The catalog follows me around the house for the next year… going over and over it.. Love Stampin' with my friends I have made over many years with " The Group"

When I get my catalog I take an orange highlighter and go through and highlight items I already have so I can start buying all the new stuff ! I look through it what seems to be a million times!! Absolutely love love love getting my new catalog. I then do what I call fake shopping! I circle everything and then add up my total. It's always a HUGE amount. Next I write out my wish list in order of what I want the most. Then I seperate the orders into $40-$50 increments thinking I will be able to buy it all in a years time! Lollll my ritual sounds a bit ridiculous when I put it out there but there you have it!
Steph / Dazzled By Stamping says
I have to say, I adore reading all your comments about your new catalog rituals! Mine are similar to some of yours. I definitely have to go through the whole catalog at least once before I start a wish list. And THEN the most common stuff that ends up on my list immediately is either word sets or ACCESSSORIES!! I love the new catalog!!! But Marcia and Lea, you both have me BEAT with how long you've been receiving them! 🙂 Can't wait for one more!! Good luck to all of you at earning a sneek peak!
