Yep, that's how old my "baby" is!!
Elizabeth's celebration was pretty simple–except that I made many of her favorite foods for her sleepover with a friend–which started with comfy jammies at 5:30pm. *Ü* (Loved it.)
Fettuccini Alfredo
Monkey Bread with homemade bread dough (for breakfast)
Yes.
We OVER.ATE. this weekend.
Todd calls my Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccini Alfredo my "signature meal" every time we have it, even though I've probably only been making it 1 1/2 years.
(Too bad I can't make it for my next HAP. Sorry. I just really couldn't make that happen. I don't do QUANTITY well without a crockpot! And I don't think the Alfredo would stay creamy. But I can share my recipes here. The Alfredo tastes like Olive Garden's–from years ago; it tasted better then. Elizabeth says she can't order Alfredo from Olive Garden anymore now that she's had mine.)
I changed my mind on how I was going to share….I just created links above in the list that's there.
So, besides cooking, I did make Elizabeth a little something.
She loves zebra print and turquoise. So this is my best shot at that.
The card actually came together pretty quickly.
Did you notice the different sizes of flowers and rhinestones?
I did a couple different things with Rhinestones and the Boho Blossoms punch–
- You can see the LARGE rhinestone easily.
- The rhinestone on the smallest flower is actually the largest of the BASIC rhinestones.
- But the largest flower–with the most petals–has the largest of the BASIC rhinestones along with a Candy Dots Brad Base. Those are found on pg 171 of the full catalog, intended to be able to make a brad out of the Candy Dots in whatever color Dot you have. 🙂 I honestly haven't used them until this card. It worked great to give me lots of looks!
So that's all for birthday sharing.
You may see the card in person when I see you again; Elizabeth gave it to me for a sample. 🙂
Have a great day!
