I found out the other night that a few of my customers are like me–and don't happen to be IN to the whole banner trend.
I'm just not big on banners.
I think they're cute.
But I'm not making them.
Period.
The whole dangling them from a string (or whatever!) thing just isn't gonna happen.
Bless your heart if you DO make them!
(I think maybe I made ONE EVER on a card.)
Well, our Sale-a-Bration (SAB) catalog happens to focus on banners in a few ways….
You can earn (FREE with a $50 order):
- Heartfelt Banner KIT or
- Banner Blast stamp set or
- Banner punch (or one of several more NON-banner options)
I can handle the stamp set and punch…
and tucking it under an edge of something.
Just not dangling.
Ha! Love that word at the moment.
So here's MY style:
Stamped, punched, tucked banner–using 2 SAB items that will be available on 1/28 when SAB goes LIVE!!
Kinda cute!
Colors are Summer Starfruit, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Elegant Eggplant.
I also used the great big fun thank you from the Photopolymer Another Thank You.
Love that.
So tell me YOUR thoughts on banners! Do YOU make them? And do you dangle them?! 😉
I'll be back again tomorrow.
And no.
"They" didn't go out in the mail yet. Tomorrow is the day.
Have a great night!!

Cute card Steph! I don't mind making one BIG banner, or one with a sentiment on it, but I'm with you as far as the dangling ones on a card. I did make a Halloween wall banner with large triangles to resemble candy corn, but as cute as it turned out, it was WAY too time consuming! I guess I'll have to reserve judgment until March when it's time to order again and see if anyone sways me by then! :0)
