My family and I went to a reunion in Ohio for my dad's side this past weekend.
It was so nice to see family again–including my cousin Beth (few years younger than me) who has cancer. I hadn't seen her since she was diagnosed!
She lasted the whole time we were there but said she was ready to lay down when we were leaving.
I also got to see another cousin who, until recently, lived across the country. I'm not sure we even figured out how long ago it was since we'd seen her. I don't know, but it's been years!
And yes, she's younger, too. I'm the oldest cousin on that side.
Her mom last year said she wanted to see stamping sometime. So I even brought stamping projects!!
We had a great time, and my Aunt Paula seemed tickled that she finally got to try it!
We don't go down there often, and I don't usually bring stamping stuff….
But I think I have a new tradition.
Here's the card we made:
I wanted simple so the kids could stamp, too. They were adorable!!
I brought my Stampin' Spots (can't buy them anymore). Then there was no problem with squishin' the stamp into the new firm foam pads.
You know who you are! 😉
The colors are Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango and Old Olive.
Zoo Babies is the set! It's so fun!
Here's another project we made. Several of you made this at my open house too:
So cute and easy!
All you do is wrap Washi Tape around a tealight candle; add a little Sticky Strip to the bottom and adhere to a punched out shape of coordinating cardstock.
Are YOU aware there's a Washi Tape Class and/or bundle?! Click here for more details.
Perfectly Pinterest (yep, that's where I found the idea!)
Check back later….I'll have another cute sample with the Zoo Babies set.
Have a great day!
