I'm very excited to be able to finally share this card with you!
My friend and customer Courtney had twin baby girls a month ago.
Woo-hoo!! They're so cute!
I haven't met them yet–they arrived a month early and have to take extra precautions.
BUT–I finally saw Courtney last night and gave her the gifts from one of my clubs she's in.
This is the card we all signed:
I used almost every pink I have available. How could I NOT?!
This technique I believe is called the Retro Grid Technique. (At least that's what I knew it as when I first learned it. *Ü*)
Here's what you do:
- Stamp animal images randomly on a piece of cardstock.
- Position this piece on lines of grid
paper. Line up a ruler with the
lines on opposite sides of the cardstock. - Using black marker, draw lines at every inch vertically and
horizontally without drawing through
the animals. When you’re done, you
should have a grid.
Note:
If you don’t have grid paper, you can just use your ruler and a
pencil. Make tick marks at every inch on
each end of the card stock—vertically and horizontally. Then use your ruler again and draw your lines
with the marker by joining the tick marks.
Have fun making your own!
Congratulations, Courtney, on your sweet lil ladies!
I'll be back again tomorrow with the cool non-Christmas flip card I promised last week.
Remember,
if you can fall in love with a project, you can learn to
create it! Here to help you channel your inner Creative

Enjoy the rest of your day!
