Hey–Just a quick post today to show you a couple cool cards using Pool Party!! (I think that's 2nd in line behind Rich Razzleberry. *Ü*)
The first is a re-do of a card I showed you a couple weeks ago. The original used Reason to Smile.
This one uses Summer Silhouettes. The flowers were kinda similar, and I just HAD to remake this card! (with Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade, too.)
This time, though, the flower is like Queen Anne's Lace, so I embossed the top of the flower in white rather than all clear….So fun!
The second card is from Judi Siegers. I think she copied the idea from something she saw at Convention.
Isn't it gorgeous?!
I don't have the set Papillon Potpourri, but I know at least a couple of you have ordered it (and it was on your "Top 5 Must Haves".) Notice the coordinating punch, too!
Colors are also So Saffron and Elegant Eggplant (actually looks like Concord Crush to me, but that's retired.) "get well wishes" is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Now I'm off to take advantage of this cool day and do some baking! It's Todd's birthday next week and he's supposed to have the week off. So I'm making his birthday treat to bring into work Friday. I think it's called the Perfect Chocolate Cake.
Best chocolate cake I've ever tasted, but it's definitely a labor of love!
Later today, I'll post the recipe on facebook. Click here to go to my business page and LIKE my page (at the top), then you'll get all my page posts right in your newsfeed.
