Hello! I’m heading home today!
(Rachel handled her surgery well, and the doctor accomplished 95% of what he wanted to, but for the rest he’s suggesting she will need another surgeon if she’d like to pursue. It’s more involved than he’s able to do. Definitely a praying point for what’s involved. Last night she was doing really well–much better than expected. But I’m scheduling this ahead of time, so I don’t know how she is today. Thank you for your prayers, and keep them coming! She needs them.)
This Winterly Tree Tops swap makes me think of sending thank yous after Christmas. Perfect.
When our kids were little, after birthdays or Christmas, I’d sit down with them and have them tell me what they wanted to say in their thank yous to their grandparents and aunts and uncles for their gifts. Boy was it a tedious job! But I received a note from my niece’s little girl that she nannies, and my niece wrote it but from the little girl’s point of view. She said her mom told her that I did that with Tyler and Liz when they were little. It made an impression. The cards we make and send can make a lasting impression!
