Happy Monday!!
This week we’re on staycation! We have in mind doing some simple things we haven’t done before. We already did one of Todd’s ideas last week on his birthday! (Can you believe he turned 60?)
We went to a sunflower farm in Hudsonville. I had no idea there were so many varieties/colors of sunflowers!
Like I said, it was Todd’s original idea, but I talked him into going there for something different on his birthday. When we were walking into the field, he said, I’m gonna need your help on deciding on colors. When I told him I just wanted sunflowers (instead of some other wildflower looking ones), he said, “well, we need some color!” I told him it sounded like he didn’t need my help at all and should just pick what he liked. We had fun!
Here’s his bouquet. We went for supper and ice cream (yes, Captain Sundae!) when we were done! Yay!
Hopefully we’ll be making more fun memories this week!
