Happy Friday!!
Hey–did you watch my Live! from Wednesday? Did you see the tips I gave for helping your Cutting Blades last longer? I wanted to make sure! So here they are again…
These tips can help you save money on Cutting Blades and/or keep your cardstock from being fuzzy when you cut it:
- Make sure you use your blade going BOTH ways. (Cut/slide up one time; cut/slide down the next.) That way you use both sides of the blade.
- (Sometimes when your paper/cardstock is looking fuzzy when cut, it’s actually that the cutting track is dirty–full of paper fuzz.)
- Clean the track by placing a wet baby wipe across the track and–using the back side of a tip of the blade of your Paper Snips–drag the baby wipe in the track from the top of the track to the bottom. Stand it straight up when running it.
- Remove the baby wipe and use the inside of the tip of the Paper Snips to lift out the fuzz collected at the bottom.
- Repeat these steps until no more fuzz is collected.
Let me know how it works for you!
