Hello!
Friday is my first Dazzling Card Club with Bee My Valentine, but my Stampers Clubs made another card this month using the set–and combined it with the “using scraps” concept.
It’s a FUN way to use your DSP (designer series paper), and it doesn’t take a lot for a cute look! In fact, you may have scraps like this that you’d often throw out!!!
A couple notes:
- I didn’t use embellishments here, even though the Adhesive-backed Hearts & Flowers are ADORABLE! I didn’t have enough of the same ones for each club, so the little 3-heart stamp sort of replaces them.
- We used Vellum Cardstock for the wings PLUS Black StazOn. The StazOn is needed to stamp on the vellum or it wouldn’t dry. BUT–the stamps are photopolymer….So rather than stamp the wings in class, I stamped them ahead of time, so I could clean my stamps immediately. (StazOn is solvent based and can damage photopolymer if not cleaned right away. It can dry them out.)
Here’s everything we used:

ps: Have YOU been making any “scraps” cards lately? I’d love to see them!
Have a fabulous day!!
