Life is Better When You're Crafting!

I mentioned we were having our first ever Dazzling Demos Team Retreat this weekend….

It was FABULOUS!!!

We CRAFTED, snacked, played games, GABBED, watched movies, listened to music and chair danced–WHILE crafting and listening to music. 😉

And yes, we did sleep too.

And I actually got things accomplished!!!

(That never happens at our retreats we hold for customers and team combined, cuz it's so big and I have to make my rounds! Plus, I spend the time ahead of time planning for the event rather than planning projects to work on.)

We rented Shenanigans Retreat Center in Alto.

And we planned (split the menu) TOO MUCH FOOD!!!

Oh, I specifically asked Linda to bring Strawberry Pretzel Dessert. YUM!!

I have no idea why I thought of it. But I knew she made it, and I seriously haven't had it in over 15 years!!! (Todd helped me with the math from when I can remember. He's not a big pretzel fan, and I certainly don't need a whole pan!! So while I have the recipe, I've never made it.) It was a huge hit, and I was thankful Linda agreed. 🙂 It WILL BE a tradition. She's already agreed to it. 😀 THANK YOU, LINDA!!

It was great to spend some quality time with these lovely ladies!

We even got to spend a few hours gabbing and crafting with (cardboard) Rachel!! 🙂

I brought my hdmi cord and hooked my computer up to the big TV so everyone could see her, and if they wanted to chat directly with her they could sit at my computer.

We WILL be doing this again, and we'll be scheduling a game night soon, too.

Obviously, being on my team isn't all about retreats and games, but a lot of it IS about CONNECTING.

But the real value in being part of my team is just that–being part of my team.
