Valentine’s Treat Jar

 

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

 

Are you doing anything special?

 

Todd and I don't usually do much, but we plan to make a shrimp dinner for tonight.

 

Shrimp is my fave!

(And he loves it, too.)

 

 

So I've been making this adorable Mini Jam Jar/treat container for my hostesses for the last month, AND we made it at my Mommy & Me Class Saturday.

 

I LOVE IT!!

 

 

I used a combo of the Hello Ladybug bundle and Sweet Conversations bundle/suite.

 

I have so many fave parts of this project!!!

 

Of course the gingham ribbon and adorable ladybug…but check this out:

 

I wanted a little black on the DSP to coordinate with the ribbon a little more.

 

So I stamped the larger hearts with Sweet Conversations stamps (hug me, luv u). ♥

(There are no words on this design of the DSP.)

 

Here's another part I love:

I obviously used the dies from the Sweet Conversations bundle for the tag; but instead of just stamping hearts on the tag, I used the double vertical heart die to cut hearts out at the same time I cut the tag. 😀

 

 

Few public service announcements:

1. For those of you who didn't know, there's a Lindt Chocolate store at Tanger Outlets on 84th Street.
2. They have an almond flavored chocolate right now that is being discontinued. So sad. (Think banquet or almond pastries. YUM!!) It's being replaced with Almond Butter ones. (I tried both. Think peanut butter type. SO SAD.)
3. My hostesses and M&Ms were happy to find 3 Lindt Chocolate balls fit in our Mini Jam Jars. 😀
