Happy Tuesday!
I have a combo post today.
First, I'll share a swap we received at our last team meeting.
(I still haven't taken pics of all the swaps, but I had to do this one, so I could give Todd the cookies!)
How cute is that??
The dies are retired, though.
Hopefully you already have them!
If not, you could always use a tag die!
I still don't have this set, but it sure makes adorable projects!!
Use host code 9B7YHCVN with a $50 online order for a free gift from me this month!
(And yes, I'm behind on mailing them….Still need to send May gifts. But they'll get there!!)

Second, I've been wanting to share about Todd's dad's memorial.
It was a good day.
Dad was in the navy and had requested military honors.
It was pretty cool, and "Taps" always makes me bawly.
Todd took the service and presented the gospel.
But FIRST, each of my kids got up and spoke to honor their grandpa.
I was so very proud of them!
And unbelievably, MOSTLY, I didn't cry. (then)
Their perspectives are completely different, but they both would have made Dad proud.
I was so proud of Todd, too!
I don't know how he does it!
Well, it's the Lord, cuz he doesn't even remember if he said the things he wanted to say.
But he did amazing.
He asked my brother's family to sing When the Roll is Called Up Yonder, because Dad's in heaven, and we'll be there some day, too. And Dad would want everyone else to be there as well.
They did a wonderful job, too, and I was just so thankful for the day–and that my family honored Dad and the Lord so much.
Later after the service, Marlene V took this pic of me and my dad, so she could send it to our old neighbor that is related to her (that my parents had bought their house from), rather than just "say hi" from him.
That wasn't the end of our day, though!
We had an immediate family only get together for MY side of the family, for sort of remembering my mom. (Her memorial for everyone will be July 10; I'll post info later.)
Most everyone played volleyball.
We cooked pizza pies over the fire and enjoyed other fruit and veggies and [on plan 🙂 ] desserts.
We watched the slide show my sister-in-law put together, shared a few memories and sang a few songs.
We haven't taken a pic of EVERYONE in years!
Someone's always missing–and you know me and remembering pics!
We made Tyler & Liz get back out of their vehicle quick to get these:
We were exhausted when we left, but it was a good day.
