Sweet Ice Cream!! - Dazzled By Stamping

We're getting close to being ice cream season!

Some may say it's ALWAYS ice cream season!

I'm a cake girl, myself.

BUT I DO have some ice cream faves….

My oldest fave is Hudsonville's Strawberry Cheesecake.

Then Captain Sundae's Tommy Turtle came to mind.

I ooh and aah when I eat it.

The buttered pecans are the BOMB!!

But my most recent fave is made by TODD!

Tyler bought him an ice cream maker for Father's Day a couple years ago.

Todd makes THE BEST chocolate ice cream around!!

SO creamy and delicious!!

His vanilla bean comes in a close second, followed by blueberry–with berries we pick every summer.

He was making batches pretty regularly for the past year or so.

Dad loved Todd's ice cream, too, and was told by his doctor he could eat anything; he needed to gain more weight. Actually, the doctor LITERALLY told him, "now go home and have a milkshake." 🙂

Unfortunately, when Dad didn't feel well, the first thing that would go was his appetite.

So we decided to make sure his freezer was stocked with ice cream, cuz he'd almost always be able to squeeze that in. 🙂

We brought some when we stayed with him, too.

He first asked for JUST A LITTLE BIT of strawberry.

I brought him maybe 3 big bites (our size), and of course, he said that was way too much!

But you know what? The bowl was clean when I brought it back out to the kitchen! 😉
