Dad Update, 1/11, and even as sample

Hey friends–

Thank you so much for prayers.

We certainly feel and need them.

I'm sorry it's been awhile since an update….it's been an emotional rollercoaster since we've been here.

Todd's dad has gone from not eating early last week and only drinking small amounts fairly often to…end of the week waking up in the morning asking for a pastry! [and then eating 1/4 of it. 🙂 ]

His vitals have been fairly good when a hospice nurse is here to check them a few times a week. But he's showing many signs of decline. The last 3 days–including today–he's slept a lot more. But he also still has his moments of clarity and runs the show. 🙂 Breakfast is his time to eat–and then almost immediately a nice long nap. The rest of the day is typically small amounts of liquids when he wakes up. I haven't made him a chocolate shake in a few days. 😉 He did ask me to make him blueberry muffins for tomorrow, though. We're just here to make him comfortable.
