Good morning!!!
Ok, Christmas IS still on a Friday, BUT I'm not showing Christmas today.
I'll share it tomorrow.
I have a gorgeous card we did at my Mini-Stack a couple weeks ago that I'm also using for my Shoebox Swap with my Dazzling Demos Team tomorrow.
So stay tuned!!
Now I'm getting back to our Color Tour this weekend.
Todd posted Facebook, so now I feel comfortable sharing his pics.
It was a wonderful day!
Here's Todd's story to go along with our pics:
Had an awesome Saturday with my wife. Usually life is so busy and planned out that you rarely take the opportunity to be spontaneous. For once we had a weekend day with little that “had to get done” with beautiful fall temps and colors so we jumped in the car and said let’s just drive and see where we end up. If we see something along the way we’ll stop and check it out. We headed north and hit sunshine north of Muskegon. Drove to Ludington and went to a park on Lake Michigan. Next was lunch and ice cream at The House of Flavors. We continued on north toward Arcadia to drive along the lake and see Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course. [Steph: It's a gorgeous course Todd and his dad played a couple times….Each hole has a view of the lake!] Next we decided to head towards Traverse City, until the sign for Sleeping Bear Dunes popped up and we changed course. Went to a park and then further on to the actual Dunes. Stephanie decided she wanted no part of climbing up a huge sand hill [Steph: especially when she saw HIM stop halfway up the part she could see to take a break!!], so she took a nap while I explored. After I got back with shoes filled with sand we continued on to Traverse City to drive up the peninsula to go to the park at the top to see where the water levels are. Back when our kids were much younger the lake levels were so low you could walk probably a couple hundred yards out into the lake on dry land. Now there is barely any beach left. Of course all good things must come to an end, especially when you end up that far from home and now you have to drive back! Saw just amazing colors especially up in the Traverse and Cadillac area. Unfortunately it’s hard to take pictures of them especially while you’re driving so you just have to lock them into your memory. We agreed that we are incredibly blessed to live in a state with so much natural beauty so close to home. Here’s some pictures of our crazy adventures.
It's amazing to see God's creation in full bloom!
