Good morning peeps!
Last night several of us enjoyed a little time together.
We shared snacks, exchanged handmade ornaments and made an adorable little project I'll share with you.
And I remembered to take pics (with a little help from my friends.) 🙂
Here are all the ornaments we brought; we each brought 1 and went home with 1.
First, I received a beautiful extra gift from a new friend!
I always like to have just a little project at the end of our night.
I actually saw something like this (on Pinterest?) awhile ago.
And I figured out the size I needed for what I wanted and had available.
It's basically an open 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" box, and it fits my beloved Lindt Chocolate Balls. 🙂
Here's what you need:
Dimensions/Directions…
Crumb Cake: 2 1/2" x 6 1/2"; scored at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", 6"; turn and score at 1 1/2".
- Cut on 1 score line to the next on the short end to create tabs for the box bottom.
- Cut off the smallest, skinniest tab (1/2" x 1"), as it's unneeded.
- Close the box with Tear & Tape on the remaining skinny tab and 2 adjacent bottom tabs.
- Put a small amount of Tear & Tape just below the top of 1 side of the box.
- Punch out all your pieces (below) and build your eyes.
- Attach the sprig first to the Tear & Tape.
- Then attach the eyes on top of the sprig.
- Attach the nose with a Dimensional.
Whisper White: (2) 1" Circle Punch
Basic Black: (2) 1/2" Circle Punch
Real Red: 1" Circle Punch
Early Espresso: Sprig Punch
Maybe you can join us next year!
We had a wonderful night.
Have an amazing day and weekend!!
