We had a fun class last night!!
We used 3 different techniques involving baby wipes.
I know 2 of them are ones I've shown some of you.
One was brand new to me. 🙂
I'll be sharing these samples for a few days!
This first baby wipe technique involves making an ink pad with them from ink refills.
For this design I used a range of purples/pinks on the Watercolor Wings butterfly to give an ombre look:
I found this most successful when using a pretty dark, medium, and a quite light color.
This technique works best with BOLD stamps or those with a lot of detail:
- good–Watercolor Wings, Vintage Leaves
- bad–This Little Piggy, Eastern Beauty
Here's all you need besides baby wipes:
At the next Techniques Class, we're working with Window Sheets.
Tuesday, August 29, 7pm; sign up now!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
