Project Pics· Tricks of the Trade

13 Jul

Great Big Greetings is one of the sets that caught my eye in the catalog right away!

Here's one of the birthday cards we made with it at my Bringing Birthdays Back Stack a couple weeks ago:

Great Big Greetings, www.dazzledbystamping.com

It was a simple card with the help of Wood Textures DSP Stack AND a bit of Foil Frenzy DSP.

A little reminder about Photopolymer stamps….they're REALLY easy to CUT if you want to customize your stamps!!

I didn't want the "heck" on my cards.

Not my thing.

So I cut it off!

(For those of you at the class, I got the replacement set; it looks like it's cut more deeply and will be easier not to ink up too much!)

Here's what we used:

And here's a quick tip before I go…

I recently read a tip regarding the blades on the Stampin' Trimmer.

I dunno about you, but I'm kinda picky about the edges of my cardstock being as smooth as possible.

In fact, fuzzy edges drive me nuts!!

I change my blades when they start getting back; I clean the track of my trimmer out–with my Paper Snips or Paper Piercing Tool; and sometimes the edges are still kinda fuzzy.

TIP: use a baby wipe to clean the track out!

It's silly that I haven't been doing this already!

And it takes care of so much more junk in the track!

BIG difference!!

Hope that helps you like it helped me!!!

Have a wonderful day!
