First, regarding the "back to work" intro here, a few people came to mind….
I can think of at least 3 customers/teachers that retired this past school year–Sharon, Georgianne and Deb!!! (and a few more non-teachers, too!)
Woot woot!!!!
You were probably far less appreciated than you deserved….
I'm sure [not getting your room ready this year] was a bittersweet realization….
Today is NOT your first official day of school….
You've had such an important job–and now you get a much deserved break!
Thanks for your hard work and dedication to your students for many years!!

I wanted to share this card soon and realized now would be great–kinda for my teacher friends!
This fun card comes from the funky little set Totally Trees, pg 48 of the Holiday Catalog.
I also used Endless Birthday Wishes [love this font!] and Crazy About You [especially with this set!] for the greeting.
Colors: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip (ink), Early Espresso (cs), Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White.
And do you see my Metallic Enamel Shape again?? (It's the heart.)
I've been favoring that one lately!
(Remember that line from Finding Nemo? Starfish talking about the dentist….Then the pelican repeats it. Ha! One of Todd's favorite lines from the movie.)
But I digress……
