Yes me. I love stories!!
Did you know that about me??
My favorites are about little kids or MY kids.
It seems I'm always telling them and love hearing them!
Well, this one starts with Christmas cards for Safyre.
Have you sent yours yet? Did you read the story?
Here's a link to that blogpost, if you didn't.
My sister Teresa texted me that they sent their card to Safyre, also saying Isabela (my 7 year old niece) made a picture of herself and Safyre in it. She labeled it "Isabela and Starfire." Then Isabela read what Teresa wrote in the card and wondered who was Safyre?
Haha!! Gotta love her!!
Teresa's great about telling me funny stories about the kids. She knows I love them, and I love HER for that!
Well, my project is really unrelated to my story OR Safyre–other than that I'm sure the kids would love this project. 🙂
It's a gift card holder we made at my Christmas Stamp Camp.
I found a similar one on Pinterest, and here's my version:
Dontcha LOVE him?????
He's a bit more complicated than the penguin–or maybe I should just say a little more time-consuming.
An Oval Framelit was used (part way thru the Big Shot) for the snout.
Punches used were:
- Tree Builder – antlers
- Bow Builder – hooves
- Decorative Label
- Large Oval
- 3/4" Circle
- 1/2" Circle
The body is tall enough so you can adhere the gift card vertically with a little Tear & Tape or something like that.
Ok, well I hope all of you are doing well with all your Christmas plans.
We put our tree and stockings up, so that always makes me feel good.
Still have shopping, though. But I'm not gonna stress yet. 🙂
Have a great week!
