World Card-Making Day is coming up quickly!
(It's always the first Saturday in October.)
Well, my tradition is to have a Shoebox Swap every year!
Shoebox Swap: Each person designs (copying is fine, too!) and makes 1 card. Then they prep all the supplies needed for each person at the swap to make it….cut/score all cardstock, etc. They put all the supplies in a "shoebox" (or bag or whatever works) and bring the box to the swap. At the swap, everyone works on a box/card, makes that card and then passes the box and works on the next one available.
You bring 1 made card and go home with (12?) We usually have around that many people at this event.
Please don't be intimidated by this event!! If a fun day of making cards sounds good to you, then please sign up!!! I'll even help you design your card if you'd like. It will only cost you $10 (covers pizza and beverage for lunch, too) and the cost of the supplies you provide for your card.
Remember, the cards shouldn't be too complicated or time-consuming. It will help our stamping time to go more smoothly. 🙂
Now that you know what a Shoebox Swap is, here's one of mine that I'm providing. (I usually provide extras.)
Simple and cute. (I'll probably bring a Christmas saying for the card, too.)
I've been wanting to use Cucumber Crush and Pacific Point together for awhile.
Love it.
Ok, before I go, don't forget to check my Events Calendar for other classes coming up! Like my Christmas Stamp Camp?? I have a Friday night and a Saturday morning set up.
Have a great week!
