Look Kate!! It's for Halloween–MY style!! ๐
(But it's NOT Tangerine Tango; went with Pumpkin Pie this time.)
Love this really simple [6×6] scrapbook page I made for my hostess Friday night….perfect for a pic of her 1 yr old grandson!
The "background" is the Hexagon Hive Thinlit in black.
Hexagon Hive tips:
- When making your Big Shot "sandwich", place a piece of wax paper between the cardstock and thinlit for much easier removal of the cardstock from the thinlit.
- Use a shim with the "sandwich." (Shim = extra piece of cardstock or even copy paper for added thickness.) Without the shim, you might find that the outside edges of the hive don't cut through all the way.
Plus, I think stamping the nice big letters or numbers from Larger Than Life Alphabet with something darker on top is my favorite way to use this set.
The "OCTOBER" is from Project Life Day to Day.
The page came together in a snap!
Well, it was supposed to anyway….kept having technical difficulties at my workshop. ๐
Even my customers–who have come to expect my VERY HUMAN tendencies–asked, "what is wrong with you tonight?!"
I couldn't explain.
Thankfully, they still love me and put up with me. ๐
Have a great Monday!
