There seems to be a never-ending supply of specials this year!
The Merry Minis Punch Pack happens to be used on a card I've been doing for some of my clubs.
I saw a design like this on Pinterest–and kinda liked the stitched ribbon being tied through one of the stars.
I'm not BIG on traditional green and red for Christmas cards, but Gumball Green and Real Red "did it" for me this time.
I plan to show a scrapbook page similar to this at my club tomorrow. 🙂
One of the most important elements on this card–I think–is the punched out (Ticket Duo Builder punch) greeting.
I ADORE COLOR!!
But one of the BEST TIPS you can keep in mind when designing a card is…
no matter how much you LOVE color,
you MUST add a NEUTRAL color (typically white or vanilla)
to make your vibrant colors POP!
Try it!
First, without the white….
Then WITH the white.
NOW it POPS!!
Love it.
Ok, changing gears…
Be forewarned:
Tomorrow I will be posting a special that is going on for VALENTINE'S DAY!!
I KNOW!! CRAZY, right?!
Well, Stampin' Up! is allowing you to plan ahead. So I'll play along.
Have a great day! See you tomorrow!
