So I didn't mean it be THIS much later, but here I am [later] with a rewind in time….
I remembered pictures this time….That is–I remembered to hand my camera off to Tyler and Elizabeth and gave them the job of taking them. (Thanks, guys!)
It was such a fun day!!
I appreciate my hostesses and customers so much! It's my favorite party of the year–spoiling my hostesses.
We always have lots of food, fun–including stamping, of course!–and giveaways.
Oh! But I have to mention that this year–even more so than other years–I had LOTS of help with food.
Tyler & Elizabeth did most of my [grocery] shopping.
Todd made my meatballs–SO, SO good!! I just made the sauce. (Which reminds me, I need to get people some recipes!)
My sister Danielle made a yummy pasta salad. And Elizabeth made what I call Cookie Monster Cupcakes.
Chocolate chip cookie dough inside a yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting. The cookie dough is still gooey. So yummy!
(So, yes, she made the cookie dough, too. It was the "gold standard" recipe from my sister Teresa.)
Thank you to everyone that helped with the day–even including some hostesses helping clean up at the end of the day!
One of the highlights of the day is the Card Contest. Any hostess who would like may submit a card. I put all the cards on a board and everyone at the party votes for their favorite.
I have to say, they were really great this year! I always get great entries, but I think everybody stepped up their game! I was pretty impressed by everyone's work! And I think it made the voting even harder.
So here's the whole group of them:
We ended up with a tie between 2 cards–I think the first we've had. And I'll share those tomorrow. (I guess Friday, because most of you won't see this until Thursday.)
I have more pics from the day. I'll post those on facebook.
Make sure you're invited to the party next year by hostessing or being a club member this year!
