Pretty in Pink

February 12, 2014
Project Pics

12 Feb

No, not the retired Stampin' Up! color….

Not the movie either.

Just a very pretty pink–Pink Pirouette, in fact.

But before I share the card, I have to share the story it made me think of…

stamping with my niece Morgan.

I know I've told this story somewhere before, but my blog title made me think of her:

Morgan & I were gonna stamp together for a school project.

"Q" and "U" were getting married the next day in phonics, and she needed to make a wedding card for them. 😉 So she asked her mom if we could stamp together.

When we got together, I asked her if she had any ideas for her card–colors, etc.

She said, "I saw a 'pretty pink' color, and I want blue."

What we came across that she said, "that's the one!" was the color "Pretty in Pink."

I had a little chuckle to myself, and we continued. I love that girl!

I just wish I had taken a picture of HER card. She did awesome!

Ok, back to my card–actually it's Diane's!

Remember I was gonna share Diane's card when I thought she'd received hers?

Well, here it is:

I think THIS is more her stamping style–and DEFINITELY her color. 😉

Ok, gotta go!! Back to Saturday plans!!

Have a great day!
