These Thinlits Card Dies make a WOW card before you even add anything to them!
But I DO like to dress them up a little bit. 😉
Here's the flip card I've been doing with my clubs the past week.
There's just so much I love about this fun card!
One thing I have to mention is that I love that SU! has been listing (in the catalog) the colors that are in the Designer Paper now.
I used I Am Me DSP here, which includes Basic Gray, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Real Red and So Saffron.
It makes it so easy to know what to pull out and work with. (I write these colors on the front of my DSP packs. So helpful!!)
Also, in case you can't tell here, I used the stamp set Tape It which mimics Washi Tape.
But I also used Washi Tape. I love mixing the two.
The Epic Day This and That Washi Tape has 2 of the colors from my DSP pack in it–Calypso Coral and Basic Gray.
How perfect is that?!
I'm not sure I would have figured out to put these colors together without the set…
and it's not a combo in the Color Coach.
But I sure love the way they look together.
So that's another place you can get your color inspiration—check out the DSP packs.
Even if you don't have those papers, you can still use the color combo.
Two more things:
Both the star and the pennant (front greeting) here are actually from thinlits that are part of the Card Dies set. So fun!
And the greetings themselves are from Petite Pairs–perfect for a flip card.
If you recall, Petite Pairs have an inside and an outside greeting.
Works great!
