Today is Elizabeth's birthday!
We celebrated with all her brothers and a friend Saturday night with her favorite dinner that I make–Chicken Parmesan & Fettuccini Alfredo. It was PRETTY TASTY!
I saw this card on Pinterest a month or so ago and KNEW I needed to CASE it for her!! She LOVES Cookie Monster! (The original came from Paper Ecstasy over a year ago.)
Here's my version:
I used the Circle Card Thinlit Die, Endless Birthday Wishes and 1 3/4" Circle Scallop punch; Pacific Point, Baked Brown Sugar & Chocolate Chip (+ white & black).
Here are the circles I used:
One of the larger circle framelits (cut in less than half for the mouth)
Circle Punches:
- 2 1/2"
- 2"
- 1 3/4"
- 1 3/8"
- 1 1/4"
- 3/4"
- 1/2"
- 1/4"? (standard, non-SU!)
In fact, in the middle of all those, the only one I DIDN'T use was the 1".
One last tip I did….for the front eyeball, I wanted the black background to be the same size as the flipping circle…
So I used the trick from the snowflake card thinlit from the Holiday Catalog:
- Run the black cs through with the circle part of the thinlit.
- Turn the black cs a quarter turn and line it up with the cutting ridges of the circle again.
- Run the black through with the circle part of the thinlit again.
- This black circle is now completely cut out and the exact size of the flipping circle.
This card's a little time consuming, but worth it for that special someone! 😉
Have a great day!!
