I’ve been sort of out of MIA again for a bit and getting back into the swing of things. Thanks for your patience with me–and your prayers for Rachel. She still needs them a lot.

Almost a month ago, I brought my new preorder products to Rachel’s house with me, so we could play. As usual, I couldn’t DESIGN my swaps while I was there. (Btw, she had ALL KINDS of ideas she was throwing at me! But her style and mine are so different, so we just talked and ooo’d and aahh’d over the products.) For some reason, I can only design by myself. I’ve always been that way….If we’re having a retreat to work on projects, I need those projects PLANNED ahead of time, so I can just cut while I’m there!
Anyway, I eventually I came up with this idea for my monthly swap.

AFTER I designed my card, I remembered I was supposed to make a fun fold!! Good thing I remembered before I cut everything!!! I DIDN’T use the Linen background stamp on this version, though. So here’s another version of the card:

On my swap, I HAD used the punch that I’m linking above–and that you can see in both pics (Three Banner Punch). But this card I ended up taking a pic of was from my stamping time with my Silver Demos Celebration. And I could NOT find my new products besides the make-n-takes I’d cut before I left immediately for Rachel’s house! So we just used the banners from Stylish Shapes Dies.
Surprising turn of events: I actually asked Todd…”I realize this is a ridiculous question to ask you, but do you have ANY idea where my stuff is that I used to make my swaps that I had to get in the mail before I left for Rachel’s?” I reminded him of me making them sitting next to him. And then as I was talking it through, I pictured exactly where I put it! I’d put ALL my preorder stuff in one craft keeper thing–exactly what I’d brought to Rachel’s the week before. It was just hiding behind other craft keepers. Haha! He was like, glad to help! 😉
